This glorious vintage TLM brooch is a true classic, hand painted by Thomas L Mott. This 1950s pin was made in Birmingham’s very own Jewellery Quarter, and we just love any piece with a fascinating back story. This collection in particular featured an array of miniature floral portraits, all intricately handmade. This vintage piece features a snow drop design on a soft blue backdrop, the perfect wintery portrait to pop on your lapel!
This floral brooch by Thomas L Mott measures 5cm by 3.5cm. It has an oval shaped metal frame in an antique bronze tone. There is a hand painted snow drop portrait in the centre, with white flowers on a blue background. The reverse of the brooch is signed TLM and it fastens with a roll pin. There is some wear around the edge of the portrait and on the reverse of the brooch, but overall it is in good vintage condition.
