A glimmering classic - this vintage brooch was made in 1969 by German jeweller Hemkel and Grosse who, at the same time, were also designing exclusive ranges for Dior and Lanvin. This brooch is a wonderful example of Hemkel and Grosse's artwork showcasing a delicate composition of materials. Textured gold clusters are decorated with pale pink and blue faux pearls and tiny glimmering rhinestones. A classic piece of vintage jewellery such as this deserves respect so pin this little gem where everyone can see it whether it's the front of your faux fur coat or pride of place on your slinkiest LBD.
Gold effect metal brooch with faux pearls and rhinestone / diamanté gems. Hemkel and Grosse signature and date on reverse. Standard pin and rollback fastening to rear of brooch. This brooch measures 7cm in diameter. This 60s brooch is made from gold plated metal with faux pearl decoration.
Condition: One pearl is missing from brooch but this is not noticeable to the eye and does not detract from the overall design. Otherwise in excellent vintage condition.
